Deliah's Ewe and Ram Lamb

We are excited to have two katmoget babies this year from High Bid Deliah. The father is Ewe Can Do It Plato. Both babies are very uniform and look to have great fleeces. Their parents have outstanding fleeces. We will be putting the ram up for sale. Not sure at the present if the ewe will be for sale/

Shetland Yarn

I have been spinning lately. I finished off this skein of Shetland. It was a blend of natural and dyed colors. I am going to knit a hat with it. It was a combination of our Deliah (a katmoget) and our two wethers Spook and Merriweather (dyed). Be watching for a future post of the hat

Rosie's Lambs

We all know how hard it is to get good pictures of lambs. So I am going to start with the lambs which have the best pictures (they are not that great). High Bid Farm Rosie and Painted Knoll Chips gave us two great ewe lambs. They were good size at 7 or 5 pounds. We were excited to get a fleckett baby. They question will be will she stay fleckett like here dad or grey out like her mom. The other ewe lamb is black which we are hoping may turn emsket as her fleece grows in since she has the color in her background

Sage and Homer

My great niece was here from Maryland this weekend and just loved the lambs. She is holding Homer our bottle baby. We never had a Shetland bottle baby before. Sage and her brother Cole loved the lambs following them around. Of course Homer loves everyone since he thinks that you might have a bottle in your pocket.
